I have a friend who is restoring a 1965 w-200. Last night he went to remove a brake drum in the rear but could find no seam and it seems as though it is part of a larger system. From his explanation, it seemed as if the axle had to be removed with the drum?????! Can anyone give me some insight as to his dilemma? Rapping and taping did not release the drum and the shop manual simply says "after removing drum" .....
