i use castrol straight 30w in my 76. i don`t use multiweights in that motor. i would use a quality synthetic if i had a newer motor.when it comes time to rebuild the motor i will use synthetic after a 5000 mile or so break in period.motor flush products are just snakeoil thatmay ruin a motor. steve
