Stay away from companies that have 'salesmen'. A legitiment Contractor will have a Project Estimator, they will be on the company payroll, not commisioned, in fact the whole salesman concept is illegal in some states. The written scope of work mentioned above also includes drawings, showing diminsions and elevations. Just as good fences make good neighbors, a good scope of work makes a good project.
