Hey there,
Been lurking here on your site for a while, doing some research, and checking out photos, ads, tech info, etc...
I have finally taken the plunge, and bought a 1964 W-100 stepside with an 8' bed. It has a 318 V-8 (not the orig motor, but did originally come with a 318), 4-spd, split rim wheels, and an original western plow. The previous owner claims the mileage is original (14,000) as it was previous to him an estate truck, used strictly for plowing and hauling. Has not been registered since about 1970. Very solid frame, front clip, needs some rocker panle repair work. Floor seems pretty solid. Bed needs some attention. Interior very clean (dash, headliner, doorpanels, etc).
Will post photos sometime soon.
I will be needing a windshield for the truck, as the one on it has some major cracks. Should I try to get a new one, or would someone have a spare nearby? (lower NY state).
Thanks for a great site, hopefully I will be able to add to it.
