What's the governed rpm now? If it's at 2100 now there's really no point in turning it any faster. Some marine applications can buzz up to 2300 but give a truck driver this much engine speed and it will get used....not a wise idea. As far as rack travel for more fuel, there is usually room for a little more but if the hp of the current engine is at the max rating for application it's best left alone.
