I will never dip a truck. It goes into the seams and you end up with it bleeding out after you have painted. It will look bad if it bleeds. I have always blasted my trucks with a garnet and walnut mix. It will get the rust out of exposed areas. Cut out and replace any metal that is deeply rusted.
