That sounds the same as the set on my early 46WDX. The passenger side is shorter to clear the differential. You still have to loosen the u-bolts and drop the bracket to replace the shock. Just replaced my shocks monday in fact - still had what looked like original shocks on it. Amazing thing was, the rear passenger side one was still good!
