Thanks Todd,
Beleive it or not I bought the VFA-32 for $500! It ran great from the get-go and the brakes have always worked just fine. I had to redo some wiring that was chewed up by mice, and had the starter rebuilt. The gas tank leaked if you filled it up past halfway. It had a split seam, so we pulled it out and cold-welded it. It has a 2 speed rear axle but I disconected it because low range was just silly, and the lever on the floor got in the way. My neighbor was needing something to haul his hay with so I took it over to him and he put a bed on itput a muffler on it, and adjusted the doors so they dont pop open when you go across the train tracks!
He uses it more that I ever will so he just basicly adopted it, and started paying the registration and everything. He helps me out a lot, and is one hell of a good guy, so I just figure the least I could do is let him have one of my old jalopy's!
This was another one we thought about painting, but it just has too much character the way it is.
