Took my dad (83years old, veteran of Tinian) to the March Airfield Museum to get up close to a B-29 again, and found a couple volunteers working on a WC-51. Seems to be ex-nato, french and german tags on dash. Very much potential. Straight body, bows, good paint. But it does need some parts for the rear end, it must have a froze pumpkin- no drive shaft, froze pinion shaft, but wheels roll (in front wheel drive)- axles cut? Anybody local wanna help with parts I suspect the museum would take donations....

Boy, they even have some nice airplanes there too, most were flown in and tugged across the runway from March to the museum. Most of the WWII bombers, lots of post war fighters, even a SR-71. But no M-151 jeeps, the airforce took them from the museum to the crusher, what a bunch of sticklers for liabilities....
