A) no. The W300 and W500 share the same front springs and shackles, but not the same
# of leaves. They also share the same manual steering box. The basic cab and front grill filler panel, front bumper, hood are the same. The frame of the W500 is bigger, taller, (usually) longer. They also share the same engine, trans, except where the W500 may carry an optional or special order 361 and/or 5 spd trans. The standard winch on the W500 is the MU-2A, while it is optional on the W300, however, I have only seen one euqipped, on my personal PW300 diesel.
