They drive on the left side, pretty much as we do here in Scotland, but unlike Scotland you can't legally drive a left hand drive there. I think the laws were made up half a century or more ago to prevent the local car industry being swamped by US imports, which explains why a lot of the older stuff there is derived from the Canadian versions which were more readily available in right hand drive.

As I understandit, with a VERY small number of exemptions, you have to convert pretty much everything to RHD. A Dodge is no real problem, imaging the problems faced by MB and GPW jeep owners where the engine was offset directly into where the steering wanted to go. Conversions range from really professional jobs on very expensive classic cars to farmers conversions of old trucks with a big hammer, most of them ex-army as I believe the army was one major exemption from the RHD rule.
