Military training is a long and sad story about "The Army Way". Basicly it seems like I've been getting my training pushed back, and pushed back al the while the lengeth of time I was going to be away from home increased from 6 months to 14months. It's frustrating because I have a family and home and regular job that need a scedule that I can stick with. It just is'nt working out well for our family.
So what is happening now is that my enlistment is up September 10th, and I'm either going to transfer to a Naval EOD team, or just get finished with the military all together. I have put in 10 years with the military 5 active, and 5 reserve.
I dont care what anyone says, it's easier to be on active duty in the Military where you are in a focused and structured enviorment, than as a reserveist where your trying to juggle a civilian life with the military commitment.
Anyway... We'll see what happens in the next month.
