I hope I'm not messing up somebody's bidding, but I saw this up for sale on the GL web site and it sure looks to have a 230 flathead, cannister oil filter, & DC generator (not alternator). Looks to me to be an aircraft tug. The description claims a manufacturing date of 10/77, but I can't imagine they'd build anything with 50's parts that recently. I suppose it would be a rather unwieldly way to buy a used engine in unknown condition, but if I lived nearby and it went cheap, I think I'd have a go at it.
