Never use blocks! Althought the factory used rear blocks on some W's they were very beefy units. Using blocks on the front is pure suicide.
Do it right if you're going to do it. Rebuild the spring packs by using proper quality leafs. A trip to a suspension shop is a good idea, if only to pick their brains and get some sound advice. This is something you don't want to jerry rig unless you're tired of living.
