PTO Differences

Is there anyone that knows the diffeences in the pto's used on FFPW's i need one for a 62, i have one that is for the early style trannys, but i have heard it is different and i wouls rather not tear into it not having the correct one.Are these still;avilable new? Thanks in advance.
