I know that I am going to catch it here for the following. When my father passed away last fall I got his '99 F 350 with a V10 in it (the price was really great). I do not know what it gets unloaded but with over 10,000 GVW (it has a large camper with everything in it) I get 10MPG on average. It may vary +/- .3mpg. I do wish it had a little more power for climbing the steeper grades in some of the passes. It seems to slow down to about 50 MPH then downshift then it will go back up to 55 or a little more.
