I have a V-10 in my Ram 2500 with the 47RE tranny. Fuel comsumption is terrible.
Empty I never get better that 10.5 mpg. Pulling my PW on a Goosneck (GCVW 17,760)
between 6.1 and 7.3 on my last trip to the Iowa Rally. The V-10 and 47RE has to go and get replaced with a Cummins HO and 6 speed.
