In my case - she told me over and over that I did not need it. We could not afford it. We had no space for it. No money to put into it. It was junky looking. Too much of a tap into the family's time. Then - I realized she was right and contemplated selling it - she then convinced me not to sell it and told me that "that's what she loves about me" - referring to the fact that I want to work with my hands and not only sit at a desk all day. No - I did not put a guilt trip on her. She had seen me restore tractors and knows that I love it. She loves me so much that she not only tolerates my hobby - she encourages me and finds ways to give me strength. The truck is definitely the headache right now - but it will be sweet when done. In fact - the truck will be properly "broken in" when the two girls officially meet at the outdoor movie theatre outside of the Wisconsin Dells. If not there - in the park. :) Wonder if the springs are so stiff that I won't even have to worry about the truck rocking? Know that song? "Gave a girl - a ride in the wagon -she crawled in and took control" - you know - the Chevy Van song. Really when they say "wagon" - they are talking about my Power Wagon - hahahahhehehe :).

Married 16 years - 3 boys. Very Happy.

Cliff
