Count yourself lucky to get your van and all its contents back with no towing, tickets, or storage fees. Also count youself lucky you got the bench warrent taken care of locally instead of being pulled over in another part of the state on vacation and being hauled off to the hooscow with no friends or money close by.
It's obvious that the car thieves in Memphis do not know how to properlly strip a vehicle. They need to train in South Central LA for a week or two. Kinda makes me remember the film "The Super" where Joe Pesci's corvette gets stripped in New York, only thing left was the frame and car alarm (which still worked). Funny.
I can take that winch off your hands to prevent someone else from taking it out of your van :-)
