Well, the police have been doing their good work helping me find my stolen 1984 Ford Econoline with the Braden MU-2 winch stored inside the van. Apparently, an investigation officer decided to run a check on me and discovered that I had failed to appear in court for a traffic ticket some six years ago. Bingo! A warrant was issued for my arrest and I had to post a bond of $126 (the amount of the fine and court costs) and then wait six hours to be released. I had no money on me so I had to walk a couple of miles home.

When I got home there was the van sitting in my parking lot. Some anonymous person left a note on my door detailing where the van was located. A tenant in my building went and drove it home.

Guess what? Nothing missing! Bolt cutters, weed whacker, battery cables, odds and ends hand tools, and, best of all, the Braden winch is inside untouched.

God Loves Me!
