Like many, I'm not against upgrades but like to see it kept "Brand Loyal" with no "Brand X" parts (except in a few necessary situations). Of course the powerplant must remain MoPar so as to keep it a "Dodge Powered" Wagon. There is something about a chevy engine in or axles under a PW that takes away from it stature, its reputation as "The Goliath of 4x4 PUs",
it then becomes just another half-breed mongrel truck! I respect someone who takes the time and can, upgrade or modify using MoPar parts as any greasemonkey can slap a chevy engine in a Dodge with a torch and welder.In my personal opinion, it comes down to a matter of respect for a PW. Some just seem to respect them more than others.
Anyway ,we were driving through darkest Africa in our PWs when outta nowhere comes this.............
