I never would have believed that a gas engine van would be good for hauling a Power Wagon, but I suggest if you don't believe how good they'll tow you might just want to drive behind John Eikhoff for a few miles in his Ford van & watch how fas that thing will haul a P/W.
There is absolutely no way I would be able to keep up with him in my 93 Cummins.
From Wendell, ID to Ouray, CO he averaged at least 70MPH through the mountains in that van towing his 8000lb M37 & trailer & I suggest that he's towed more miles than most of us here have.
I see no reason why the Mopar wouldn't tow as well as John's if it was mechanically sound & geared properly.
Don't take my word for it...ask someone else that's tried to keep up with him!
