PPG, MP-170 Epoxy Primer must be top coated
within 24 hours. If not, the surface must be scuffed and re-shot with MP-170 prior to any top coat, Per PPG P Sheet. Top coating
with MP-182 Surfacer Primer is easy before the time expiration of 24 hours. Once top coated with MP-182, there is no expiration and you can shoot color at any time. This way you can get your primers on and put it into limbo if you want while your doing other paint type stuff. The PPG Tech site covers all this.
