I'd probably take them for $100 for both if I had the chance, but I tend to have a lot of heavy old iron sitting around under tarps and in sheds that I'm going to use for something someday. I have two good driving deuces, 2 others that could might maybe be drivers someday and one 52 Reo gasser residue that's just parts. With that many deuces, I would think that even if I just took a couple parts off those engines someday that would fit the LDT456s it would be worth it.
You're better at converting stuff to money and moving it out than I am, but to double $100 isn't much profit in return for lugging several tons of old non-rolling iron around. Maybe you could just do the FD a favor and peddle the engines as is where is to somebody who can use a complete one.
