Drill out the broken stud and re-tap the threads. Use a center punch to get a start for your drill bit and try to get it as close to center as possible. You might want to start with a small drill bit and then go to the correct drill for the tap you will be using. Also use new drill bits. They will work the best. Go slow and take your time. Use oil on the drill bit and don't drill on fast speed.
