When you travel to check out a truck, does the owner ever offer to reimburse you for your travel if the truck is already sold or not what you thought it would be? Of course not.

If I were you, I would tell the person, "The truck is here, if you want to come see it, fine, but if it sells 10 minutes before you get here, thats fine too"

This person is just playing games. I would not even accept a deposit from this person because they would whine about it and make threats if it wasn't returned after they have kept you hung up for a month.

The first person to show up with the cash in hand gets the truck. And it comes with an Arkansas Warrenty - If the truck drives down the street and breaks in half, the new owner owns both halves.
