I am particulary interested because the frame on my C4 may need some repair. In particular the part of the frame that is double thickness..... the inner thickness has started to puff up with rust in the middle of the vehicle.
I would like to repair it... not only to get by the vehicle inspection but also to insure good structural integrity. I will never use my PW to it's full limit but....
The comments on boxing the frame was used extensively on hot rods my concern is that it may make the frame musch too stiff for serious 4x4 and could lead to cracking the frame....
Being a Jack of all Trade with a stick and mig welder I would appreciate all your advice and comments.
