Bob, I am in the middle of writing up the history of this truck. It turns out to be pretty well documented and has a very interesting history.
In a nutshell, it was given to an executive of a company in St.Paul as a Christmas gift in 1949. The plaque is still on the dash. It then went
into storage in Arizona for about 10 yrs, got sold to the fire chief of Yavapi county who painted it red. 4 years or so after that, being that it
was too slow to get him to the fires as fast as he wanted, sold it to a Dodge dealer in Prescott. He had it from the mid 70s till 1994 when I bought
it.

While it is very orginal in the sense that little was done to it since 1949, it did have lots of extras put on at that time to make it a nicer and more
personalized gift for their president. These include a clock in the door of the glove box, a spotlight a radio etc. The turn signals you asked about
must have been added later. I don't think there is any reason to assume their location now is "correct".

You asked about the rear turn signals, which I have not remounted yet, but these were attached to the bottom side of the wood body. Thus this does not
hlep you locate them on a regular truck.

I am trying to get old photos from the time the truck was given. I have contacted the company in St. Paul, spoken with the current president and will
continue to follow this up. But stay tuned, I will have full write up of this truck.

George
