I'm thinking of trying to put in an extra gas tank on my crewcab. With 9 miles/gallon, I can't go more than 150 miles. The truck is a shortbox, and there is a circle behind the wheelwell where a hose could be run to a tank between the frame behind the rear end. Was there ever a dual tank offered for this year.
Or else, I'm thinking of maybe putting a tank behind the rear seat. Either way, I will need a tank built to fit. Any suggestions on what is needed and what kind of shop could do this?
