Other than the dual intake manifold mentioned by David and probibly the cam,most performance upgrades to the 251/265,(I've seen or heard about)are home grown modifications.An article in a older issue of the PWA,told of a early 70's slant-6 electronic type distributor parts used on the L-6 distributor shaft,to provide a hotter sparking,more dependable ignition.Headers would help(if they sell them or someone built them)You could gain a few hp by eliminating the stock radiator fan and using those high cfm electric fans.A couple of my personal favorite fantasies
are(finding roller tappets and using three(3)sidedraft carbs!)If someone would build an adapter plate so we could just use the 4.0 liter chysler OHV 6cyl.(old AMC)that would seem to solve the power problem w/190 hp.Sorry I couldn't be more help.
