I've had mixed results with Powder Coating. I had some done by one place that turned out very well and hardly chipped at all after having tires mounted 2x on them. Another set that I had coated elsewhere look pretty beat up after the first tire mounting. I think it has to do with the quality of powder coater and the quality of the paint powder.
