I agree with you about the 89-93...Cummins did "set the industry on its ear"...I'm not so sure about Dodge other than the guy who signed the deal with Cummins.
They were definitely better engines than the old naturally aspirated International of those years, but you can't compare one to the Powerstroke that Ford introduced in 94-95. That's my opinion anyway & I'm talking about comparing them in stock form. If you compare the Powerstroke of 95 to a Cummins of 95 they are similar. Which is better? Public opinion says Ford...I like Dodge, but lets just say they are both good trucks. I guess some of you guys have had bad luck with your Fords & that's too bad. I know many in the same boat with their Dodge, but it's not a brand thing, it's because these new trucks are too complicated...ALL OF THEM!
