You could also quickly detune the exhaust by crashing and burning badly enough to crumple and deform the expansion chamber of the pipe. I ran over someone and wondered why my CR250 Elsinore was running so badly untill I found that I had put a walnut size dent in the pipe right near where it bolted to the cylinder.
