I never really had good success with anything Sears except their hand tools. Their wrenches and socket sets still seem to be good. Last year I actually got flames coming out of my hand rotary saw. I have seen too many friends have problems with their lawn care equipment to even try it. I stay away from their auto stuff. I have had nothing but bad experiences there. There Die Hards die hard and never last the warrentee period. I simply walked away after consistent battery problems on several vehicles.
I still like their hand tools and that is about all.
