Get ahold of Ray Suiter of Helitool before he moves to Thailand, and see if he has just the 318/360 kit sans the transmission pieces. You would need to make a crossmember to fit a short tailshaft 727 transmission, and a custom short driveline. This would be a very clean install. Click the link, then go to the M37 section and check out the engine kit. You'll see the motor mounts. Also look at the disc brake conversion kit. Once you put a V-8 in, you'll be upping the speed, and the stock brakes are inadequate for this. I have the full engine kit and the disc brake kit. They are very well made. Ray is moving out of the country, and it will be a year before he gets back online making these kits, so if you want to go this route, get ahold of him asap. If you need help with the transmission setup, feel free to contact me. I have photos of some 727 crossmembers for the M37. My email is Dodge_M37@lycos.com
