The way the seat is built you could lower it with new springs that are not as high, but they would have to have the same top and bottom ring diameter to lock in the bottom ribs. Without doing the back seat also to make it longer to fill the gap, it would not look good. You could cut the back seat frame mounting ribs and extend them to lower the back seat down to compensate the difference. There are sites that can custom build springs and whole seats. If you can get springs that have the correct upper and lower diameter, but shorter, or have them made, you could do it and I don't think you would have any problem with bottoming out on the seat. You would be in for a lot of work. Buy a set of PW seats and do the work on them
