As I've said before, Power Wagons were among the best trucks ever built, & certainly rank among the best designs in the world...why would the prices stay low on them?
Not many years ago a guy could buy a Plymouth Hemi Cuda for a very low price but eventually they catch on & prices go through the roof, as they have.
With Power Wagons..for every 1 properly restored truck or mint condition original, there are hundreds of beaters that will require 10's of thousands of dollars to restore them.
This is what make the good ones expensive. Lots of guys on this forum have subjected themselves to the task of bringing one back from the dead...most normal people it seems would prefer to just pay for a good one & spend their time in Maui at Christmas!
