Since my calendar is drivel, I'll email some dates. Drove the M37 about 150 miles last Thurs to VT with my brother's WDX in convoy. Took 6 hours, with no problems except Frank changed oil to a heavier weight after the first hour to get more pressure. Also his brakes locked when parked once, had to open a bleeder to release pressure. That's been mentioned here before, what's the cause? Came to a 4 way intersection in NH and what was on the other side? Another M37! We passed and I yelled "pull over!". He kept going. What are the chances of passing another M37 on a 150 mi trip? So if the driver of the M37 in Lake Spofford NH last Thurs is reading this, say hello. Did some trail riding up there, found a huge mud hole, avoided it since I had no recovery help and went over the biggest BFR I ever saw. The short wheel base M37 almost high centered, I'm wondering what the PW's will do. Mark in NJ, that plow frame will have to go for this trail. I got the elusive VT inspection sticker and now I'm legal as ever, although I'll need mud flaps to avoid the revenue generating sheriffs. The M37 runs much better up there - gravel roads, open pastures, and rocky trails.
