The Engine ID is ont the side of the engine if you have access to see it, also a 360 uses a larger carb, and the intake is different,but the easiest way would be to look at the balancer, a 360 is externally balance so the balencer will have an offset cut in it,where the 318 is plain. if you can view the sides of the engine you will find the displacment and the build date.
