I have the '49 FF in the garage and a '58 Cad sedan with tri-power from a '58 Eldorado. I wanted to take the '58 but my buddy wanted to ride with the '57 Eldo. Yeah, wish I'd met you so we could chat flatfender-I did admire the Sweptline, though! Always nice to have one of the rare rides at a show. I did not see any rods broke on the way home-but I saw lots of "Homey Wagon" rice burners overheated on the Snoqualmie Pass. I guess a chrome coffee-can exhaust doen't solve all the problems, heh. The 50 year old Caddy never gained any heat the whole way-I bought her a couple rounds of Penzoil when we got home.
