Rather than going to the trouble of trying to read or decipher the long string of numbers of the distributor off the data plate, all you have to do is get the first three digits, ie: IAY or IAD etc. There are several more, but this should simplify things. The parts house is going to ask you for these anyhow. As a side note although these two are in my 50 and 49 FFPW respectively. Although they share the same points and condensor they call for different caps and rotors. Hope this helps!
