Model year detail question....

O.K. so 1956 was a transition year for the Power Wagon it seems. Did all '56 Power Wagons get the flat top bed sides (3rd series) or just the ones after a certian serial#, like the syncro transmissions? If it was a transition for beds in '56, what serial# was the transition?
