Hey Joe, l'm running 318-3/727 RV setup in my 68D300. The trans is what l call a "Hardtail," No slip yoke. These transmissions have a hub yoke,or pinnion yoke like the T-cases and axles. Also, l am using the heavy 5380 u-joints/ driveshaft of the 440 trans. This is the same driveshaft components as the W300/W200Crew/D400. these are the only 727's equipped with the full 9 clutches and all the extra heavy duty internal accoutrements. l hope l was a help.
