You hook it up to air from your compressor & you use carbon rods for removing welds, cutting stainless, you name it. That's how I removed the welded centers from the 20" rims I built. With an Air Arc you could gouge every rivet on a P/W frame & have the frame totally in pieces without any damage within only a few minutes.
If you ever need parts for any of that we have drawers full of it here at the Shipyard. If you need rods or carbons just let me know what you need. We order rods 10,000lbs at a time & keep them in a huge rod oven so as you can imagine, our cost on welding rods & equipment is likely MUCH lower than you can get them for.
