try the fix (clean, polish the journal, new
bearing inserts, etc.) if if does not work
you are just out some time and a little expense and then will have to spend the 5K +
to rebuild
just make sure clearances are correct and all oil passages are clean of debris - do not need to ventilate crankase from within
night find a 'OLD Time Mechanic' to help you
most shops and or technicans of today cannot / will not field fix due to liability
