Not really a crew cab just a long extended cab. I had the idea that if you cut the back off your original cab about an inch behind the doors and right up over the roof. Then you go and find a carryall in sad shape with a good roof. Now you take the roofs off at the front seam, marry the roofs together on the Ext cab, add the rear panel and fab the space between the rear of the doors and the rear of the cab, and build a floor for the rear section of the cab. Now if you were lucky you might be able to salvage a cople of rear side windows from the carryall to mount between the doors and rear of the cab. This way you would only use one cab. Just my thougths on the subject. I'm really a WC (thats a half ton 2 wheel drive not the military WC both have the same letter designation) guy and am planing on extending a cab about 8 to 10 inches.
