The military at one time had waterproof 360 distributers for some obscure application. It may have been an amphibian or snow machine, I'd have to go through my library. Anyway, suffice it to say they had them, and they are very scarce. I've been looking for one for a long time to waterproof my engine. Failing that, you might have to build a box around the distributor.

For my 318 and Helitool kit I've set it up so I can seal everything, and have tapped the bellhousing so I can run an air line to it. Will set up an air tank and push regulated air into it to pressurize the bellhousing and tranny.

Don't know if I'll do the same for the engine or will rig it so the PCV can be shut off to allow blowby to pressurize. Depends on how much blowby I get, have to measure it. This is how the M37 fording system basically worked, which used blowby to pressurize the engine and tranny. Won't work on a 318/360 because the tranny does not share air space with the engine.

As for plugs, the military distributer is set up for the military braided fording ignition wires and plugs.
