I just rebuilt my differential and found the yoke shaft to be badly grooved from the seal. Fixed it with a speedy sleeve (from NAPA). Many seal surfaces on these vehicles are grooved due to years of use. Speedy-sleeves are a lot less money than replaceing these expeensive and hard to find parts.
