It does not matter 6 or 12 volt. I would at least not bump the pedal when putting in the switch but after you start screwing it in have someone start puhing on it a little to push the air around the threads till fluid flows then tighten it. That way you would get rid of the bubble behind it. Then check your pedal to see if it needs bleeding. Mark H.
