I hear your thinking, & you are the picture King, ;) but I still think these "better" cameras are just too complicated. You know, once I have the picture in my camera it's still 1/2hrs work by the time I screw around in photoshop & downloading the pictures.....
Yes, I can take an MPG movie & even record a message with each of my pictures, but I've never used any of those features...don't know how. One day I'll likely want to try but won't have the phone book sized manual with me! Ha Ha!
I guess it just depends how much time you like to spend with your camera. I hear people say that the Mavica is just way too big. Who cares? No bigger than most photographers big huge bags they carry around. People tell me that the Power Wagons are too big & I'd be better with a Toyota Tacoma for parking downtown & I haven't bought one of them either.
To each his own but if I was back in the market for a camera, you can still buy a new Mavica on Ebay for under $200...how do you beat that?
When I bought mine it was the best on the market, so naturally I had to have it...now it's just another old camera that I paid too much for & still don't know how to operate!
